Chasseur Sangiacomo Green Acres Hill Chardonnay (Carneros) 2007 92 points | $48 | White
Made from an old Wente clone, it exhibits abundant notes of brioche, lemon, citrus oil, poached pears, and honeysuckle as well as subtle spicy oak, and elegant, crisp acids buttressing a medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated wine displaying freshness as well as vigor. It should drink nicely for 4-5 years or longer.

Tandem Sangiacomo Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2007 90 points | $48 | Red
When given a few moments to expand past initially simple and slightly candied beginnings, the aromas of this involving Pinot seem to deepen and find more richness and range, and the wine's building flavors follow suit with a wide-open mix of ripe cherries and rich oak underlain by a trim touch of firm tannin. In contrast to its tighter, somewhat more acidic cousins, this one flaunts its very considerable stuff now and will make lovely drinking in the near term with savory duck and veal preparations.

Sojourn Sangiacomo Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2008 97 points | $48 | Red
Medium-deep ruby color; deep, spicy clove and dark cherry aromas; big, rich, ripe, dark cherry flavors with spicy clove and earthy notes; very silky texture; good structure and balance; long finish. Rich, ripe and very complex Pinot with an amazing core of fruit; beautiful to drink now but will definitely improve with age. Great Pinot from a great vineyard. $48

Chasseur Sangiacomo Green Acres Hill Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2007 95 points | $48 | White
If not the most complex of the new Chasseur Chardonnays, yet certainly competing for that exalted title, it is also a wine with plenty of zesty fruit, this time with a fairly round palatal feel complete with plenty of oily glycerin and more than enough supportive acidity to complete the balanced picture. Its stunning combination of depth, balance and richness continues all the way to the end, and if it drifts a touch more towards the big and dramatic than some of its mates, it never loses faith with expected Chasseur classiness.

Stephen Test Sangiacomo Vineyards Carneros Chardonnay 2007 91 points | $35 | White
Ripeness, extracted fruit, ample oak and uncommonly fine structure are the hallmarks of this big, but surprisingly well-balanced wine, and , while subtlety is not among its strengths, it is a very deep and full-flavored effort that commands attention. Unlike so many of its similarly flamboyant cousins, it promises to age quite well, and, if it offers lots to like in the near term, it will only get better with age.
