Within two blocks of Sangiacomo Vineyard, Kiser Vineyard is planted to old Wente clones known for their “hens and chicks,” or uneven berry sizes. Rich aromas of lemon verbena, butterscotch, and chamomile are graceful and intriguing. Honeysuckle is silky and unctuous on the palate, establishing a luxurious texture. Sage and lime zest are dotted with white-peppered peaches, and herbed apple notes are bright and ripe on the finish. $45
